Tammy Brodie D.V.M.-“Dr. Tammy”

Dr. Tammy knew she wanted to be a veterinarian most of her life.  She grew up on an island with a dog and kept a horse on the mainland.  She began her veterinary medical career as a kennel assistant followed by a veterinary assistant. This experience just fanned her desire to understand medicine more so she graduated from Michigan State University in 1988 as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.

After working at several veterinary hospitals gaining valuable experience, Dr Tammy decided to purchase Orchard View Veterinary Clinic in 1995 with the goal of providing the best possible care for pets and their families.  When she is not at the clinic,  Dr. Tammy enjoys spending time with her family and friends (2 legged and 4), and flying her airplane whenever she can.

Teresa Mogdis

Teresa began her career in veterinary medicine in 1985 at the Animal Clinic of Muskegon hospital in her hometown of Muskegon, Michigan.  Teresa continued to work there until 1992 when she took a year off to work odd jobs. Since 1998, Teresa has worked here for Orchard View Veterinary Clinic as the manager/technician. Her favorite part of her job at Orchard View Veterinary Clinic is of course the kittens and puppies! Michelle Griffioen (M2)

Michelle graduated from Lowell High School in 2014 and attended Grand Valley State University for 3 years. Growing up she had always wanted to be a veterinarian and 'practiced' on her childhood chocolate lab Candy. Michelle rescued Pepper, a black lab, a few years ago. While training Pep, Michelle knew she wanted to help animals in some form, but not knowing how she could make a difference with the challenges she faces. Battling constant pain, she wants to make sure that animals don't feel that same pain. In the fall of 2016 Michelle joined our team as a receptionist, making it her goal to make a difference in the lives of the pets and owners as she can. She's living her dream. In her free time Michelle spends as much time as possible with her niece and family. She enjoys rock climbing, reading books and of course eating food. Just don't ask her to cook for you, it will come out burned to a crisp.

Kristin Krum (K2)

Kristin always wanted to work with animals since she was very young. She had multiple types of pets growing up. Kristin started off at Central Montcalm High School and then moved on to Montcalm Community College for general education.  She then left home to start her career in veterinary medicine at Baker College of Muskegon and graduated in 2015 as a veterinary technician. She started working at Orchard View in December 2016 and loves to be back closer to home (Ionia). Seeing all the fur babies and doing lab work are her favorite things to do here at Orchard View. She has one dog at home named Athena which she loves going for walks with and cuddling on the couch for movie time. Other hobbies would be reading books, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. Her future plans are to become the best vet tech she can be and keep learning because education is very important to her.
